Hello Families,

I am proud to say that I began my teaching career here at Alta Vista in 1998! I love working at this fabulous school because of the dedicated faculty, students, families, and the entire community. Here are a few tidbits about me...

I'm a local!

I grew up in our little town of Redondo Beach. Go RUHS Seahawks! Although the city of Long Beach is where I currently call home, I will always stay connected to Redondo Beach.

Education:

I attended UC Santa Barbara for both my undergraduate studies (Communications) as well as for my Masters in Education along with my Teaching Credential. The only down side? No football team! Luckily I married a die-hard University of Oregon graduate. Go Ducks!

Family:

I married the love of my life, Joel, in August of 2005. We were blessed with the birth of our daughters, Emma in 2007 and Abigail in 2010. We adopted our family dogs Daisy and Sunny and they make our family complete.

Hobbies:

I love to hit the trails in our RV trailer over the summer with my family. I also love tailgating, creating digital decor on my computer, crafting with my Silhouette Cameo 3, and shopping on Amazon. :)
