About Me
I grew up locally in the city of Torrance. I received my Bachelor of Arts in liberal studies from the University of Chico. I started my teaching career at Alta Vista in the year of 2000, where I have remained in 2nd grade.
I come from a family of teachers. My mom is a retired teacher from Lincoln in Redondo Beach, my oldest sister is a 3rd grade teacher in Wiseburn, and my sister (Mrs. Cosgrove) teacher second grade here at Alta Vista. I am very excited to have her as part of my great second grade team.
I am married to my wonderful husband Trevor and we have two lovely daughters, Brooke and Brynn, who attend school in Redondo Beach. In our free time, we love to do arts and crafts, play with our black lab mix, and travel.
