American Heart Association - Kids Heart Challenge

Our school is getting ready to start Kids Heart Challenge (previously known as Jump Rope for Heart) with the American Heart Association. This community service program teaches our students how to have HAPPY and HEALTHY hearts, challenging them to make a health pledge online and encouraging students to raise lifesaving donations to help fund CPR trainings and critical research to help local families with special hearts.

Get started by downloading our APP called Kids Heart Challenge for iPhone and Android OR go online at www2.heart.org/goto/altavista. You can earn a glow in the dark members-only wristband just for registering, which we want 100% of our students to do before our event!

• Kickoff Assembly: April 22nd
• Kids Heart Challenge Event Day: May 7th

School Goal is to raise $10,000 in Lifesaving Donations!
• Top participating class gets a popcorn movie party with Dr. Hillyer
• Top fundraising student in each grade gets lunch with an administrator
• If we hit school goal, we get to silly string Dr. Hillyer & Mr. Estrada
