It is so easy!  Just follow these steps to submit your photos:
   • Click on picture of cat below.
   • If it does not automatically log you into the site, enter username: 406743617
   • Browse to select the photo(s) you wish to upload.
   • Enter information about the photo including student name, name of his/her teacher and your contact information.
   • Click "Save Details".

*The Yearbook Staff will review all photos and determine final yearbook content. We cannot guarantee that all submissions can be used in the book.

Attention Wildcats!

Tickets on Sale NOW for the 4th AnnualAlta Vista Family Carnival – April 29th

Please join us for the most entertaining community event of the school year!  This year’s carnival will be bigger and better that ever with all of the amazing food and attractions that we’ve had in prior years, plus NEW food vendors, and NEW this year we will have live bands, dance & martial arts performances!  

TICKETS:  Discount pre-sale tickets are only $8 per person and this year includes ALL attractions!  Pre-sale pricing is available until April 24th, then goes up to $10 per person.  Tickets also available at the door for $10.  Purchase tickets on our Web Store NOW at: or see attached registration form to pay with cash or check.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:  Each classroom has been assigned a fun attraction and we are looking for approximately 8 volunteers per classroom to fill just a one hour shift.  Please sign-up NOW to volunteer at:

CAKE WALK:  Would you like to donate a cake or pie for the Cake Walk?  Please sign up at

PERFORMERS:  Is your child a member of a dance troop, demo team, etc. and like to perform at the Carnival?  If so, please reach out to Shannon Lee ( for more information.  The Carnival committee has just one spot open for teams to display their talents.

Children’s Book Author, Drew Daywalt, will Return to Alta Vista – May 17th

Drew Daywalt is the author of “The Day the Crayons Quit” and his latest book, “The Legend of Rock Paper Scissors” (releasing on April 4th). He will be returning to Alta Vista on May 17th for a special assembly with the students to share with them insight and inspiration for his new book and discuss the writing process with them.  Advance copies of his books, which he will sign for kids during his visit, are available for purchase at 40% off list price on the PTA web store. All purchases must be made by March 31st . The Great Room Café Fundraiser – April 3rd – 5th

Join us for dinner April 3rd – 5th between 3:00 and 9:00 pm for South Bay’s new premier chilin’ station.  Relaxing lounge for adults and play rooms for kids all ages ($10 child, $8 siblings).  Bring the flyer and 15% of the food and beverage proceeds will be donated to Alta Vista.

Box Tops Scavenger Hunt Contest

The latest Box Tops contest is here! How many of these items on the Box Tops Scavenger Hunt list can you or your child find? Find them, clip them, and turn them in with your child’s name and teacher’s name. Every 10 valid Box Tops turned in by 5/19/2017 will earn your child a chance to win one of thirty-three $5 gift cards to Wanna Chill?, generously donated by Wanna Chill?. The Box Tops Scavenger Hunt list will go home with your child and is also online. Happy hunting!
